Everything we sell is a digital download. Because the product is delivered instantly, refund rules for digital goods are different from physical goods. Here is exactly when and how to ask for a refund from financialmodels.au.
You may request a refund for any digital product purchased from financialmodels.au within seven (7) calendar days of the date of purchase, provided you give a proper reason. The seven days run from the timestamp of the order confirmation email we send you at checkout.
We accept refund requests where:
“Changed my mind” without further context is not a proper reason — but if you tell us what the underlying issue was (the templates were not what you expected, the industry didn't fit, you found a better tool, etc.), we will consider it on its merits and most reasonable requests inside the 7-day window are honoured.
We generally cannot issue a refund where:
The Business-Planning Template Pack is supplied free of charge. No payment, no refund applies.
If your refund is approved, the funds are returned by our payment processor (Paddle) to the same payment method you used at checkout. Typical timing:
The refunded amount is the price you paid, including any GST. Paddle (Merchant of Record) processes the refund; you may also see a separate line for the GST reversal on your bank statement.
This refund policy operates in addition to, not in substitution for, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If our digital product fails to meet a consumer guarantee (it is not of acceptable quality, does not match its description, or is not fit for a disclosed purpose), you may be entitled to a refund, repair or replacement under the law, regardless of the seven-day window above. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.
If you disagree with our refund decision, please reply to our email so we can discuss it further. If we cannot resolve the issue between us, you may also raise a complaint with Paddle (our payment processor) via your purchase receipt, or with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) or your relevant State or Territory consumer protection agency.
We may update this refund policy from time to time. The current version is always available at financialmodels.com.au/refund.html. The policy that applies to a particular purchase is the version in force at the time you made the purchase.
