By purchasing or downloading any product from financialmodels.au, you agree to the terms below. They are short and written plainly on purpose.
When you buy a plan, pack or financial model from Financial Models Australia, you receive a personal, perpetual licence to use the material for your own business or the business of your direct client. The licence covers editing, modifying and reusing the material within your organisation.
You must not, directly or indirectly:
Any of these actions constitutes a material breach of these terms and will terminate your licence immediately.
The names Financial Models Australia, financialmodels.au and financialmodels.com.au, along with our logo, branding and identity, are our property. You must not:
The plans, models, slides and other material we sell are illustrative templates and educational tools. They are not, and must not be relied upon as:
Before making any commercial decision based on our material, you should consult appropriately qualified professionals — including a registered tax agent, licensed financial adviser, solicitor or chartered accountant — who can assess your specific circumstances.
Every plan, model, slide deck and template we sell is exactly that — a template. It is a starting point. It is not your business plan and it is not your business. You take it, customise it to your circumstances, validate every number against your own data, and run your business yourself.
A business plan is one input into a business. Outcomes are determined by execution, market conditions, customer behaviour, competition, capital availability, regulatory change, team capability and many other factors that no template can predict or guarantee. We give no implied or express guarantee, representation or warranty — of any kind — that:
We prepare our material carefully but provide it strictly “as is”. The business is yours; the responsibility for it is yours.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither Financial Models Australia, nor its officers, employees, contractors, agents or affiliates accept any liability whatsoever to you or to any other party (whether a co-founder, investor, lender, partner, customer, advisor, regulator or anyone else) for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary loss, damage, cost or expense — including loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of data, loss of goodwill, regulatory penalties or third-party claims — arising from or in connection with:
This exclusion of liability applies to the fullest extent permitted by Australian law. Where the Australian Consumer Law implies guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded, our liability for breach of such guarantees is limited (at our option) to resupplying the digital product or refunding the price you paid.
By using our material you accept that the responsibility for using it appropriately rests with you. You agree to:
Our digital-product refund policy is set out on a separate page: Refund policy. In summary, you may request a refund within seven (7) days of purchase, with a proper reason. After seven days, or where the digital product has been substantially downloaded or used, refunds are generally not available, except where required by the Australian Consumer Law.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available at financialmodels.com.au/terms.html. Material changes will be flagged at the top of the page with a date stamp.
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any dispute arising in connection with them is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
Questions or licensing requests — including bulk licences and partner arrangements — should be sent to info@financialmodels.com.au.
